Drake celebrates Raptors title in hilarious fashion

Drake has been one of the icons of the Toronto Raptors’ run to the Finals and you better believe the Canadian superstar was in peak form as his team knocked off the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.

The OVO head honcho strolled down the hallway where a throng of reporters was waiting for him, and he delivered with the expected braggadocio you’d assume from one of the Raptors’ most visible fans.

“Listen, this is poetic. This is poetic, you just gotta watch it happen. The 6ix in six, Kyle Lowry with a ring. Kawhi Leonard bringing a chip to the city. I want my chips with the dip, that’s all I know. I don’t want my chips plain, I want my chips with the dip so bring ‘em dips,” Drake said.

“People like to make memes, make another meme out of this! It’s beautiful, look at my brothers up there celebrating. It is what it is. You see what my hat says: not Finals, not Eastern Conference, not ‘um, nice try, or see you next year.’ Champions! Let’s go! Real talk.”

Drake also gave love to injured Warriors superstar Kevin Durant, who suffered a devastating Achilles injury during the Finals, and former Boston Red Sox legend David Ortiz, who was shot in the Dominican Republic on Sunday.

“That dynasty is over. We did what we had to do. Praying for them. Praying for KD, praying for Big Papi, but tonight love for Toronto. It’s not about what it means, you know what it means.”

The Raptors are a really big team, and they need some really big rings, they need some really nice things, better be comin’ with no strings. Your move, Drake.
